Local municipalities often justify these cameras in the name of protecting children in school zones. These speeding cameras are cash cows for local governments, and do seem to be unreasonable intrusion violations. I would sign a federal law banning them if it came to my desk passed by Congress. It would probably end up in the Supreme Court.
