As a middle school and high school teen I delivered newspapers seven days a week, shoveled snow, cut grass, and raked leaves to help raise money for my family and buy things for myself that my parents couldn’t afford. While it was difficult at times, especially in the cold; it was worth it; teaching me responsibility, time and money management.
I believe teens should be allowed to and even encouraged to work part time. They should be paid a minimum wage and never have to work in dangerous workplaces, ever.
