How will you foster a culture of scientific transparency and accountability in government, while protecting scientists and federal agencies from political interference in their work?

I am against unnecessary regulation that would restrict progress. I support the need for absolute scientific independence to produce truthful outcomes. I would expect that any scientist whose work was interfered with by government agencies with political bias or agenda would report that. My administration will enforce transparency in government will protect whistleblowers.

I also acknowledge gaps in the work of government agencies to protect the public. An example being the failure of the FDA to investigate and remove over the counter medications that don’t work.
