There are countless dangerous AI scenarios such as following the functions of bad actors or poorly planned benign intentions. AI engineers are convinced that there is already a 10% chance that AI can lead to compromised human capacity, enslavement, or even extinction. Big Tech has proven that their only concern is profit, which is why they cannot be allowed to shape the AI future. So it is up to the people through their govt. to monitor and carefully direct the course of AI development, setting up needed regulation, and guardrails on the AI we already have, and determining future directions. Global standards also need to be enacted and under my leadership the US will take a major lead on that.
