Reparations What do colonizers and enslavers owe the nations they plundered? What reparations and restitution, financial compensation and return of artifacts, are due? For example: Portugal regarding Brazil- 6 million African slaves, wiped out indigenous Brazilians, responsible for colonial crimes. Clearly an international discussion is needed, also to put on notice to warn modern day colonizers: Russia, China, Arab states that their current colonization attempts are not without consequences.
